The final purchase price is not confirmed yet and will be negotiated between Poland and the United States. The first deliveries of the tanks are expected to start in 2023.
In August this year, Poland and the U.S. signed the first contract to send the most advanced version of the Abrams tank to Poland. The country already received the first 28 units in accordance with the agreement.
According to preliminary information, the additional purchase concerns 116 Abrams tanks from the older generation that were previously in service with the U.S. Army.
